Tibet is a magical land of rugged and breathtaking beauty. A land of pure light and intense color born in a rarefied atmosphere of 15,000 feet and virtually cut off from the rest of the world, a place of personal pilgrimage for those fascinated by its benevolent yet threatened culture. This expedition transports us across the Tibetan Plateau in search of rare wildflowers to sketch and paint under the brilliant tutelage of a master botanical illustrator and advocate for the Tibetan culture in exile. Daily guided yoga sessions with Debra McKnight Higgins will further open our hearts and bodies to the power of this very sacred place.
