Founded in 1998, Debra McKnight Higgins is the principal of McKnight Higgins Consulting. She is a seasoned professional that brings an entrepreneurial spirit to all of her work. She holds a Masters in Business Administration and has run four successful businesses of her own including a marketing company, a yoga studio and a restaurant.
Debra transitioned her consulting work to the nonprofit sector from a background of 18 years in marketing, advertising, sales and public relations. She specializes in strategic planning, project management, marketing and branding strategy, fund research, major donor campaigns, foundation and corporate fundraising, assessment and planning, annual campaigns and content creation for all media including proposals, websites and annual impact reports..
Debra works closely with other nonprofit consultants, and with teams of graphic designers, web designers, event planners, photographers and more. She conducts workshops, retreats and trainings for organizations and groups in the United States and abroad.

Zacha Belok is a leadership coach and facilitator who guides nonprofit leaders nationwide through organizational development and executive coaching. His approach blends embodiment, mindfulness, and art therapy to introduce creative insight and new ways of thinking into strategy and leadership development. Zacha has conducted thousands of coaching sessions, trainings, and workshops across industry, nonprofit, and government settings, collaborating with institutions like the City of Santa Monica, Planned Parenthood, Amazon, and Salesforce.
In the San Francisco Bay Area, he has also worked closely with nonprofit organizations on organizational assessments, strategic planning processes, fundraising strategy, and foundation prospecting—supporting leadership teams to clarify priorities, strengthen internal alignment, and position their organizations for long-term sustainability and impact.
In addition to his role at McKnight Higgins Consulting, Zacha facilitates the Leadership Exchange and Coaching Project with the Northeast Regional Child Advocacy Center and offers private virtual coaching from his office in Fairfax, CA.
